The Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Oklahoma seeks outstanding candidates for a renewable instructor position in single camera production, multi-camera production, and/or audio production including podcasting, beginning Fall 2022, to join an award-winning program in Creative Media Production.
The strategic plan for Creative Media Production stresses a combination of skill sets tied to both legacy media forms—narrative, documentary, corporate—and more cutting-edge media applications, such as mobile, interactive, and online storytelling.
We would be particularly interested in applicants who can bring a knowledge of production from underrepresented positions, such as specialization in BIPOC perspectives.
The position will help prepare students in both skills and conceptual learning. The Gaylord College ranks among the top in the nation in creative media production awards over the last five years in Broadcast Education Association competitions.
